Fastenal  didn't have anything. Neither did Lowes or Wyman (plumbing store). I  went to my favorite antique shop and she gave me a couple numbers to  call and see if I could find anything from them.

Basically, they've put casts on his legs to help stretch the muscles in the backs of his legs over time to allow for greater mobility later. Today we put on the first casts. He chose green.

We celebrated with "new" toys. I gave her an old cell phone so she'd stop stealing mine, and she's become obsessed with a Wiffle ball.





And finished off the night trying her first few bites of real,big-kid food - mashed up banana.

Not so sure she likes 'em yet, though.




And, of course, she had to steal the spoon.

Dunno what I  did, but it was probably a "twisted the wrong way after months of  twisting, lifting, and bending the wrong way" type deal.

Got a massage yesterday and that helped some, along with some OTC  anti-inflammatory meds and alternating heat and ice and wearing my  corset (in place of the back brace I don't own). 1 lb peas (fresh, canned, or frozen is fine)

~Combine coconut milk, cream, eggs, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a medium pan.

5 cloves garlic, crushed 

~Mix spices for marinade. Rub onto the bird and refrigerate 24 hours.
